Weekly Nights

                               My NightTime Routine

I love evenings it's the perfect time to relax and unwind and what better way than to have a shower and get into your comfy clothes, today has been  slightly different because I have had a bad ear ache and just feeling a little blah sore head as well so I have been resting up pretty much all day today which has given me time to edit my blogs and catch up on emails also watching a good drama on catch up SAFE HOUSE if you haven't already watched it you really need to, both series are on catch up the only thing I was gutted about was the original cast are no longer the main characters however ounce I started to get into it I become hooked and they are actually lovable characters as well. Both completely different stories and I am already on episode 3 and so far so good, I really don't want to give to much away but I can say if you like your dramas that keep you on the edge of your seat it's  worth a watch,  also LIAR it's one of those dramas where you fall in love with a character and hope that they are the good guy the problem is each week it leaves  you more confused and wondering what is going on lol.... They are my must see programmes at the moment.

Tonight  I decided to cook vegetable stir fry for dinner using cabbage, mushroom, red pepper, sweet corn, onion, peas and broccoli fresh noodles and oyster sauce very tasty also using coconut 1 calorie spray to fry the vegetables a very easy satisfying dish. Once I finished I put the dishes into wash and went into the shower,  using a jhonsons lavender night time wash it  smells so nice my children also love this scent I'm always going into my boys room and stealing it, makes your skin supper soft and also feeling relaxed a lovely clean fresh fragrance. After  I have used my shower scrunchie to lather into my skin I apply my soap and glory body scrub in the original scent very nourishing and works really well with the lavender body wash, finally clean and happy I turn off the shower and get out to then put my bath robe on I always let my skin dry naturally, so whilst I'm leaving my skin to dry I  move on to my teeth using Colgate whitening enamel tooth paste I brush my teeth to make sure they are clean before moving onto using my organic charcoal whitening powder, it tends to get  a little messy especially when applying to the teeth the powder flys everywhere my teeth feel so lovely and shiny but whilst brushing they turn black. After brushing for 2 minutes they are ready to rinse then not forgetting my Listerine enamel protect mouth wash and a little floss then my teeth are done, skin is now dry so I apply the after jhonsons lavender body lotion using my Mitchum deodorant in green original and I decide to put my shorts and a plain grey strappy top on this evening, moving on to my skin care now and I have decided to use my NO7 cleansing brush which makes a huge difference I think when applying my NO7 cleanser, also using my toner as well both NO7  for combination skin and then on to my night face cream for oily skin also from the NO7 range I find this night cream works Great on my skin  does not leave it oily or shiny and drys into my face which I find a lot of products I have tried leaves  my skin feeling wet and doesn't help my completion, I finish with a cream I put onto my blemishes which I purchased from boots for 9.99 and I have to say I have not had any more breakouts and it helps clear the blemishes I have already also scars  that have been left.  Unfortunately  I suffer with severe hormonal acne and it has left me feeling really  down at times about my skin but since using this I have even been out of my home without makeup and that is a huge accomplishment for me. Applying cherry bomb burts bees lip butter to keep my lips hydrated my skin care is complete. Walking downstairs I literally put  my melting moments lemon lavender in my wax burner and light my cute little tree lights to give my home a relaxing calming feeling cosy under a blanket and watch some television before coming to bed and editing my post. I feel so relaxed now whilst drinking my sleep night Caffeine free tea and I am ready for a good nights sleep
So the last thing I need to say is night and sweet dreams xxx

To come home and had a lovely visit fro m to of my favorite people Mrs Lottie and Mrs Lisa F and of course not forgetting the cute Stumpy the dog who i am not currently watching whilst they pop out to collect a few little bits before putting up my pool. He is such a friendly dog it will be very hard to give him back at the end of the day LOL

This afternoon we will be putting up the 12FT pool hopefully it  does not take to long before slipping in to our costumes and relaxing this evening. I'm currently modeling a red nose down to this amazing sun and brown body all thanks to my tan last night i was also thinking of making some cocktails this evening however will be a new experience because i have never tried to attempt one but a PINDA COLLARDA sounds right up my street with a  little sugar dip around the edge YUMMY!

How has everyone's day been today i do wonder? as you maybe be able to tell i'm acting as though I am in sunny Spain however I can only wish ha! ha!

Weekend Ahead

                                               WEEKEND OF FUN

Half term is coming up this week tomorrow spending the morning a soft play area with my children, a while off getting stuck half way down a slide and having balls thrown at me, crazy how much energy children can have but it is the best, all this quality time, that will be the morning planned out then off for some lunch before I  come home and read a good book, I  wonder what authors you guys prefer? or a favorite book you are reading at the moment? I prefer real life stories however the fifty shades books where my guilty pleasure ha!ha! my dream would to publish my own childrens books
I  have recently written a book about a naughty  cow eating all the party food at a little girls birthday party my little boy's reaction was " that's cool mummy who wrote that" I  replied with " of course me darling" and they thought I was lying cheers boys!

On Sunday myself and a couple of close friends are heading down to Lake Side for a day of shopping,I have never been and have been told all good things about the place and the area so hopefully take some shots on the camera as a passion of mine is photography, and maybe a cheeky vlog. we'll be heading out to a nice place for some dinner as well before heading home. should be a nice journey down probably have a little boogie as us ladies do screaming out songs and shaking our heads to the music lol. as the car ride will be 2 hours so plenty of screeching to be had.
Whilst I am there i m hoping to pick up my youngest little boy hes birthday presents he will be 4 in a couple of weeks, I can't believe how fast they grow it makes me sad in a little way because he wont be at home with mummy anymore but instead he'll be at school. Plus he changes he's mind all the time one minute he likes paw patrol the second he likes marvel I am hoping to get him a few bits I really want to get him the George pig costume from peppa pig as well and will be making him hes birthday cake and the theme this year will be chocolate fountain if it goes to plan.

Tonight i have been doing my course work allot of reading but it pays off in the end the course i am doing is(Drug, alcohol and Solvent) counselor which is so much fun have already passed my first test will 100% and second test at 89% i'm extremely happy with these results. I have done allot on my studies now so may call it a day and relax now before heading to bed.So a good film I feel so full I had a naughty meal this evening had chicken in naan oooops! and some chocolate cake and ice cream i'll let my self off thou as it was only a very small slice LOL

Also tackled the St. Moriz  spray tan this afternoon was a little bit disastrous as its left steak on my hands however the remainder of my body looks really good  and like i said in my earlier post i have never tried to do a spray tan before so I  tackled it really well i applied it and left it for a few hours I would have thought it would have been darker as according to the packaging 3 hours is a dark tan i'm more a medium but its nice however still a strong scent of tan thou LOL

What film shall I watch? i'm completely stuck I have hundreds of DVD's plus Netflix and Now TV as well its a shame as most of the films available have seen way to many times or not my cup of tea. I love pretty little liars but I am all up to date now i may even watch Bridget Jones baby for like the 2nd time in the last week but what can I say " i'm hooked on Bridget Jones" I think Renee Zellweger  alongside Collin Firth they work together extremely well it is just a shame Hugh Grant wasn't a part of it.  I'm actually starting to understand why allot of people blog its very therapeutic if I am felling a little stressed this really relaxes me why didn't I do along time ago, I may of been a more relaxed person instead of being the lady who becomes worked up easy. like I have always said " i'm the snail who needs to crack her shell"  LOL

Well i hope everyone  enjoys they're start to the bank holiday weekend i'm now going to lay on the sofa with a candle burning away a nice glass of water and ice with a good movie and a blanket, some people may thing i'm pretty dull with how my evening is planned out  however I do not drink alcohol so that is why I only go out now and again as i'm normally the only sober one there and it is not fun after a while lol. so what ever you up to this evening or day   enjoy guys and stay safe
until next time bye guys

Only thing I can say is YUM! my favourite cooks are Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver, Mary Berry, Sandra Lee and Giada De Laurentiis all amazing cooks and completely different I love that  Jamie Oliver is so passionate about working with schools for better food choices for the children being a mother myself it's nice to know it's not just at home that my children are getting the right amounts of fruit and veg so thumbs up to Jamie Oliver, Mary Berry's cakes look so tasty I enjoy watching these chefs at work finding new recipes to try.

Town & Chulo

Shopping, all women love some retail therapy and I thought I'd share my fav buys, Whilst I was away visiting family in Kent I came across a gorgeous boutique the smell when walking past was good enough to eat, Chulo naturals I really liked the quirky  name of the shop and it looked so pretty outside so I had to go in, the best thing about it was the lady who owns the shop her workshop is actually at the back of the store all handmade and natural ingredients, I get sensetive skin at times so I always prefer the sensetive range, I was over the moon when I found strawberry and prosecco lip balm everyone who knows me know that I have a huge obsession for lip care, I have tried high street to high end and now I have found this specific one which I love I just had to  order another 6 more all natural ingredients conditions the lip whilst exfoliating them as well, the scent of strawberry prosecco is very strong and lasts through out the day with out continuously reapplying.
The weather yesterday was amazing hitting  27 degrees in places around the UK I live just across from a lovely park and was so nice to see so many families with there picnics, I had to grab myself an ice cream on the way to the shops first buy of the day was this lovely backpack I am always putting my handbag down and nearly forgetting to pick it back up so I decided to go with this faux leather back pack, have a shopping trip at lakeside coming up and also going to London for the day to visit some art galleries and this will be ideal, the bag has a gorgeous rose detailed buckle across the top two compartments inside the bag, and so much room inside, two long stripped detailed straps at the back, this was from matalan and was £14.

Also popped into superdrugs whilst I was out and there are so many great deals on at the moment I went over board so I thought I'd add in  couple of the items I purchased, I will start with the Maybelline the Falsies volum express waterprrof based mascara in black comes in this really pretty tube, it has a curved brush applicator, I applied it this morning and was amazed how it feels on my lashes it makes my lashes feel thicker with out clumping, spider eyes as I put it lol the price of the mascara was £7.99 however it was part of the Maybelline offer that is on at the moment which is 2 items for £10 so that brings me to the next item that I purchased and this is the Maybelline dream Lumi touch highlighting concealer comes in a pen you turn the bottom of the pen till it clicks and the product comes through the fiber brush at the top of the pen, I really like this product its hidden my dark circles under my eyes nicely, I did apply 2 coats as it was best coverage for myself, I got this in the shade 01 ivory also £7.99. I do like my offer buys and was worth £10 for both thumbs up, I'll move on to Rimmel London now and I can say I haven't really bought much in the past from Rimmel however I really wanted to try this next product Rimmel London lasting finsh blush whuch is in the shade Santa rose, it comes in a nice little pot with the Rimmel logo in the front, very pigmented and a gorgeous finish, this was £3.99 I also got the Rimmel London stay matte long lasting pressed powder in shade 001 transparent I used this powder this morning as a setting powder over my concealer instantly it took the shine away and left my face feeling really soft, so far I haven't needed to reapply this product this was also £3.99  again both of these products where in a specialand they where  buy 1 item get 2nd 1/2 price which I thought was really good so am happy with this.

Whilst I was in superdrug yesterday I was so excitted when I came across this essienail cameo 82  rose gold nail polish and I can say it's gorgeous quick dry and applied one coat and already could see the gorgeous rose gold colour coming through when the light hit it, I love anything rose gold and finally have a polish as well I got this for £5.99 to go on top of the rose gold polish I also got a GOSH nail lacquer girls on film 619 the glitter is so nice applied on top of the rose polish very sparkly it's more a pale gold tone and this was £3.99 moveing on to the Maybelline new pore eraser primer, my friend said to try this product as like most I get really bad hormonal breakouts I use my no7 primer normally with I brilliant for my skin, however this could be ideal when I go away as it's a nice size to put into your weekender, I have tried this product this morning it comes out the bottle clear like vaseline fragrance free however when I put it on it left  my face so soft and it aimed for bad pores so was definatly a must have and very glad I bought this, my foundation looks so much better applied now this was £7.99.

I shall move on to the body care products that I bought now and I will have to start with the Zoella soak opera comes in a 490ml bottle the pink lid gives it that girly finish, the products itself is a shiny liquid when in the bottle and smells sweet and strong I can not wait to try this, this evening I tried it on my hands this morning and it formed a lovely bubbley foam that left my hands soft, I have been a bit Zoella products addicted lately this was £5 I just have to add my fav product by Zoella range at the moment is the sugar dip scentd bath salt, smells so good. Will now move onto the mitchum one of my dearest friends Lottie reccommended this to me years ago and it's my must go to, this scent is by far the best it smells tropical and it gives 48hr prtotection I could never go back to the original now I have been introduced to this, this was well worth the price £1.49  so I got 3 lol it leaves the underarm soft I have very sensitive under arms and this leaves me with soft skin and great in this heat as well.
Next is this Dove nourishing care shower oil with moroccan organ oil, I normall use baby oil in the shower  but because I'd rather keep it for my little boys as us mothers do love that baby smell lol so I brought this however  I have not tried this yet, I know Doves shampoo and conditioner is great always leaves my hair super soft and silky and the body care range suits my skin as well  this was £2.18
Now I move on to the fun products very messy and I am no expert at applying this at all I think I have only ever applied tan like twice but I thought I want that summer glow, so I have brought myself the St.moriz advanced pro formula fast respornse tanning mist, I am a very pale lady I love my natural features but some times it's nice to enhance them the safe way, I have never and will never use sun beds becaue I know how dangerous they can be also the sun I use way to much suncream with doing this yes it protects my skin however I never colour change I am alwasy left pale but with this St.moriz it says you can leave it on 1 hour for a light glow 2 hours for a medium tan and 3 hours for a darker bronzed tan, I may leave it a little longer than an hour so im in the middle of light and medium any longer I'll probably be left looking like Mardge Simpson, (I will be trying this this evening so wish me luck!.) so staying on the St.moriz range I also got myself the St.moriz advanced pro formula primer a must have tip before applying your tan, smells like a sweet fruit smell really nice these products do not smell like that tan smell, which is great looking forward to making a mess with these products later on.

Now my favourite items the Chulo naturals collection as I started my post off by talking about the beautiful shop that I purchased these from I thought I must finish with these beautiful items all made by the store owner her self, I have tried many of the bath bombs but my favourite is the unicorn bubble bomb it's a mica fragrance smells like my childhood, the  rainbow sweets I lived on when growing up it leaves the water glittery and shimmers on the body this was £2.50
secondly I love bath salts and the next product is the indulgence geranium & rose bath salts in a 200g pounch reminds me of a florist smells like rose pettals and very strong fragrance as well, I love that all her products are not tested on animals, and all natural from the earth,
moving on to the bath soap collection there where so many to choose from however travelling home I couldnt put the full shop into my suit case so i picked my favourite 3 bubblegum what more can I say apart from I was tempted to eat it lol. so silky soft on the skin all these products are good for all skin types which is good for presents as well as my family are so funny when it comes to skin care as very sensitive skin or allergies, second soap bar is the sherbert lemon a sour scent highly fragranced I have been using this one every day and even though I had a shower at 10 this morining I can still smell it now if only there was a parfume in this scent as well lol.
the last soap bar is till the cows come home oak and sea salt with chunky salt granuals through out the bar, smells like the ocean, all bars where £2 each.

I love my new cushions the theme I am going for in my bedroom is vintage shabby paris and when I saw these in Chulo naturals I had to buy them, both handmade and the cushion in side both are made from duck feathers and very soft fabric, with a paris logo at the top cupcakes chocolate as well very cute medium cushion this was £12

My other cushion again was brought from Chulo naturals however this one has a little pouch attached to the cushion with the ragrance of vanilla & lavender inside my bed smells gorgeous also have duck feathers inside and again handmade more a shabby finish with cute little flowers,
I love shopping for homeware and body fragrance especially now realising I have far to many accsessories around my home, and my guilty pleasure are flowers and candles you can not beat having fresh flowers and a nice scented candle burning through the day, I say they are my guilty pleasures because every week I have to buy 3 bouquets each week and candles well I have way to many everytime I go out I'm always home at the end of the day with at least a new candle and new wax melts, my favourite brands are little Hottie wax melts from bomb cosmetics I also love Yankee candles and homemade ones as well which a lovey friend of mine makes from soya which is also excellent as well, yesterday whilst I was out before I forget I also went to a new dessert resturant and it was so pretty inside reminds me of lady to harriet beautiful china tea pots the little accessories made it more so homely and of  course the fresh flowers as well, we had little sandwiches I had a lemon grass herbal tea and of course scones with jam and cream. was a lovely finsh to a great day.
I hope you enjoy reading and untill next time bye guys,

My First Post

Welcome to Sharleeighs life, I decided to start this blog as a way of expressing myself and my interests I love life and all its many diversities and that's exactly what this blog will be about my life in all it's diversity from real life, best buys to cooking recipes I love.
Let's start with a little bit about myself
I am a mother of two gorgeous little boys. kallem he's eight and Zachary-luc he's three they are my absolute everything and you can be sure to see plenty of them here.
people say I'm an open book and they're absolutely right, I like to think I say it as it is and I'll always be honest about my opinions, emotions and feelings.
On this blog I'll be sharing my passion for fashion, food, makeup, singing, song writing, art life experiences and of course being a good mother.
